psi ops problem

hello everyone

i have a problem running psi-ops: the mindgate conspiracy,

when i first install the game and run the psiops.exe, the screen goes black and then returns to the desktop with an error message saying "the resolution is not support! reset to 1024x768"; then, when i try to run again the game, the screen goes black and returns to the desktop with no error.

my computer specs are:

AMD Sempron 3000+

1.8Ghz, 512 ram,

no accelerator graphics card but 64MB shared for video

I haven't downloaded that so I don't know if that's how the program is for everyone...
Is your resolution set at 1024x768?
If it isn't then the way you change it is:
Right click the desktop > click on properties > on the tabs at the top click on "Settings" > then on the resolution thing move it until it says the resolution you need (it probably won't be exactly what you need just get it close).
If your using a different OS (operating system) than Windows the way you change it might be different.
